Strudels Drop-by

Shopping with mum has never been better, rite? Well, we rarely spend quality times with each other and sometimes we got too tired to just have a chat after work at nite. So on some free weekends, where my mum is also on OFF-day (mum is a trainer and usually works on weekends), we went to Midvalley to have some shopping and lunch. And, to my own surprise, i think i never head on to Metrojaya upper level's recently that i was soo thrilled to find out Strudels has open a new shop inside Metrojaya. Poor me for not noticing it, durrhh!! And we were just loveeee the decos of the shop!!! Almost feels like home!! But since, we already had our lunch and we were kinda full, only mum decided to have a drink while me n sister just had a window-shopping at Metrojaya. hehe there was nothing much we can shop there because we were gonna spend on some fabrics later. Yes, fabrics for hijabs..there I said it!! =) no no no not the one Kak Mami is selling on her Schanaz scarf, just lil something for our ownselves as my mum sometimes get bored and she said she wanted to sew herself, but end up she sent those 'kain' to tailor instead, ngeh! *sorry but i love extra large image*

May 2011 HFW

Hello & Salam all you fashionistas out there!!

I am super excited to inform you guys that I will be participating in the next May 2011 Hijabi Fashion Week (HFW). Do check out the official web page of HFW {here} and also on Facebook {here}.

How to Participate?

And the best part is, you guys can participate, too! Just follow the instructions below or you can find out the whole details on the web page here.


Here's how:

If you're a blogger (tumbler, wordpress, blogger, etc) or have a website:

1. Place the LoveHFW badge on your blog or site (perhaps in each outfit post or even in the sidebar).
2. Take photos of your looks for each of the categories and post them to your blog on the assigned date. You can also submit polyvore sets or display your looks in any manner you are comfortable with.
3. Link to your blog post to LoveHFW on the assigned date for each category using the link widget.  Categories can be found here.  Please not that you will not be able to submit links until after 12am on the assigned date.  You can find detailed instructions on how to link the day of.  Also, link submissions will be open for up to two weeks after the assigned date.

If you do not have a blog / website:

1. Take photos of your looks for each of the categories.
2. Upload them to the Facebook fan page and don't forget to tell us which category your photo belongs to!  Please upload them to the fan page on or after the assigned dates :D

Colleague's Wedding: Arni + Salehuddin

Salam!!

Last 1st-May, we went to a colleague's wedding located at Dewan Seri Melati, Putrajaya. It was Arni + Salehuddin's wedding. Arni and I used to co-operate together during work and she's the most sweetest person I've ever known. Despite I like working with her, she was also very smart, patient, and always full of support. When she invited me to her wedding, I was so happy for her that she's gonna be somebody's wife, but what I didn't know in the beginning was that, she's gonna leave for Japan following her husband who got a job there in Tokyo to be exact. So, i guess, i'm going to miss her so much as i thought that maybe after this we could be working together as always like before. Nonetheless, nothing more i could say except that i am so proud of her for being a really good person in which so many people also do like her as much as i do, and i will always pray for her happiness and success and i hope that one day probably we could meet again. Insya-Allah. And i hope that she will get beautiful babies =) Congratulations to the both of you, Arni & Salehuddin!!
