Dress.Shop.Love Bazaar at Stellar

Went to Stellar for a third visit now! This time it was an event contributing and help raise funds for a lymphoma cancer patient. Read her story {here}. And also, i wanted to meet my 'sister', Ami Schaheera, who was gradually getting better from Leukimia which she diagnosed of it bout a year ago. Looking healthier as she is, and i was so happy that she has really supportive family and friends to help her going through her chemo and life as a survival cancer patient. Pray for her fast recovery insya-Allah.

Back to the event, the place has never been changed, pretty and decorative as always. And i love the ppl there, especially Bono who always sweet and welcome us with her smile. And yeah, that's why i love going to Stellar =)

Even though the crowd was not so like during bloggers+Maysaa event, but the support i think was really overwhelming. I have to say, i was glad that i could contribute and shared some love by attending this bazaar. If it's not about us, at least we do it for someone who really need it the most.

Now, the pictures! Starts with me and Bono. Great vintage outfit on hers.

BFF's Wedding: Kamilia Alias

Morning guys!!

So yeah, i feel like wanna update something today. Usually after a wedding i attended, i will update my blogpost with the photos. So here we go again. This time it was my bff's wedding in Teluk Intan, Perak. I drove all the way from KL-Teluk Intan-Ipoh then my bf drove us back from Ipoh to KL. To Ipoh was actually because we need to send my bf's sister's car at her rented home.

Congratulations Cammie dear!! Finally you're married!! Hope you'll live happily and get cute babies!!
Insya-Allah

What i wore to the wedding?

I decided to try on my nude beige schanaz scarf (a gift from sis Ami Schaheera) together with Sugarscarf's turban-alike-inner balqis. Kinda happy by how it turned out and sorta matched with my bright pink kebaya. This kebaya fabric i bought long time ago at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR), KL with sis Ami Schaheera during fabric hunting for her wedding's preparations, and we made it to be a kebaya at Dzuldeclassique boutique in Kajang. And the clutch i used is from Forever21, which currently my favorite.

How i wore my scarf?

I always find a hard time to wear silk satin shawl as it is slippery and always wanna fall down over your head. So without googling for any hijab tutorial, i tried wrapped it up myself. So here how i did it:

  1. Put your scarf on the head, make one side longer than the other one
  2. Take the scarf to the back and pin it
  3. Take the longer ones side scarf up and pull it over your head (by how AmiSchaheera do it on video below, making it like a hood)
  4. Left it hanging on the other side (not twist or do anything)
  5. Secure it with pins on both sides of your head
  6. Now take the shorter ones side scarf to cover your neck and pin at the back side (so that we will not see the pin which we use to secure it)
  7. And it's done

After somebody asked how do i wear my scarf, then only i tried looking at some tutorials. I did remember sis Ami had made her first video of hijab tutorial (knotted hijab), and then i saw a THIRD tutorial from her (i never noticed this one before as i'm not with the internet all the time which is so wrong as you might lose some of cool stuffs or news), and i've watched it and i was like "owh just the way i made it!!" but only i made it slightly lower for the upper layer heh!

See how it looked like from the side =)

    Harry Potter's Weekend

Good morning everyone! Up so early on Saturday :)

So i think wanna post up some shots taken during Harry Potter's weekend at Midvalley.
Was so excited to watch the movie as HP has been intelligently created by this truly amazing lady, JK Rowling, who was actually living in poverty (before she became zillionaires). According to my mum, she started writing harry potter's story when she was sooo poor, she used to write her book under a dimmed candle lite, with small kids, small rooms to live in..and when she finished a chapter, she sent out her writings to be published by one of this company, but they laughed at her, telling her it was some kind of a joke and she will not succeed...but sooner or later, she never gave up and there was one lucky guy, came up to her and said he could help her..by then, people loved her story, and she started making another chapters and so on, until her book been chosen to be a movie..what a great obstacles to begin with to lead to a finest victory..such an inspirations to me!!

Now, what i was wearing to the movie
Some of the outfit is repeated from my previous post. We went to Mid afterwards

Fav Casual Wear - Batwing Tops & a Clutch

    Hello lovelies!!

These are my current favorite casual outfit for a day out, i even wear 'em for running errands. The flowy effect of the tops really works, kinda the way i like it on bright and sunny day. I've worn this tops before at Stellar during the fashion rehab bazaar with Maysaa. I donned it with a flare skirt, felt blend over with the fashionistas, eventho i was really messy that time as i only wore a simple 'tudung bawal' due to my black scarf got burnt out while ironing (heh, silly me, should have leave the maid to do it, coz only she knows how to work the steaming iron properly durhh). Well, read my post about the event {here}. So, move on to the pictures, i must tell it is such a comfy outfit for an evening venture. Can't get enough of batwings, gotta find more of the kind. Mind the geeky pose with my dull-looking face (where gone my blush?), did some random shots around the residency area. Photos taken by EmiNem

    What i was wearing:

Almond batwing top | Lalin Closet
    Pants | SODA
Rianna shawl in fuschia | Sugarscarf
    Shoes | Vincci
    Printed clutch | Forever21
    Bow necklace | Shop Sptnkswthrt
    Bracelet | Midvalley

Johnny's Steamboat and La Senza date with besties

Have you ever tried a steamboat before? I bet you all does, rite? Well, if you noticed, i've been updating my blog with lotsa food stuff, i just went out and eat and eat and eat, but i ain't going bigger, either LOL! But never mind, i'm just enjoying food as much as everyone else enjoying it, haha  =)

So on my date nite with the boyfriend, we went to One Utama, Damansara, basically to buy my mum a gift of Mother's Day specials from Crabtree & Evelyn (which she did mentioned that she wanted it). Lavender is the new & latest product at Crabtree, so you guys should go and buy one, too..if not for your mothers, for yourself also can maaa...

And we went to my all time favorite steamboat place, Johnny's! We were just love the dip 'thai-flavored' sauce and also Tomyam soup..And their prices are quite reasonable, too..So if you go there every weekends, i think it should be no harm for your pockets, *winks*..

The newly renovated Johnny's Steamboat Restaurant.
Located at old wing of One Utama, just near to Jusco supermarket

Ordered Tomyam for the steamboat soup, fishballs, mushrooms, fish glue, shrimp balls and a rice noodles..
and i had Aloe Vera juice for the drink..really tasteful!

Bought Crabtree & Evelyn's latest Lavender collections of cream body lotion & bath for mum.

This is what i got for mum

What i was wearing that night:
The outfit, something sleek and simple yet ordinary chic like me would wear on a dinner date

found The Garden's place to take some photo shots :)

And!!!...Here are some shots of me and my partner's in crime, Faridah..i told you on my previous post that i registered a One Card, rite? So One Utama had generously email all One Card holders for the invites to La Senza Body Kiss new launch party happening at their outlets in One Utama.

But, unfortunately, we arrived there a bit late to receive the first-come-first-serve 100 goodies from LaSenza, so we didn't get our chance to get the goodie bags, so sad though, but we managed to grab some of the candies and lollipops, and coz we kinda frustrated, we left early so we didn't stay for the fashion show, and no pictures of the event, sorry! Oohh and Jezmine got special invites to the launch itself at Pavilion, KL. Just go to her blog to check-out what she got from La Senza and what she wore to the party {here}.

Did some shopping at Forever 21..
