A Weekend to Splurge

I always had a great time when we spent the day with mum. She never failed to treat us like her little girls. On this holidays, mum decided not to go to any getaways, but to just hang around in KL, go to shopping malls, have great lunches and desserts and just shop shop shop =)

Turban from Sugarscarf
Cat-eye: Liquid eyeliner from Sephora

Went to Scrap n Crop shop for mum's scrapbook and artwork projects :)

Mum 'belanja' me this. Tropical Kate Spade iphone premium hardshell case. But it had already cracked a bit at the bottom. Silly me, always clumsy around things and i just smashed down my phone to the floor this morning. What a gloomy day to start of. Really hurt my feelings but no am not gonna cry :'(

And this is what i had yesterday. A must buy if you go to KLCC.
Macarons & meringue from Harrods and Cheesecorn & Caramel Crisp from Garrett

Once Upon a Dancing Fish and Whimsical

Yesterday, mum asked me (again) to bring her to crafty shops to buy some stuffs for her work, or shall i say her current hobby in her free times. Besides Craft haven in One Utama, her other favorites has always been the Whimsical shop in Bangsar Shopping Center. The shop name i think is Scrapbooking or something but my mum likes to call it the Whimsical. Okay ma whatever.

Hello there! Imma mustard queen! Rofl!

And here's mum too busy to even noticed i was taking her picture. She likes these hand-crafty thing since forever!! And she always knows where to find all these good stuffs. And she even make friends with the sales persons of the shop. Not that she doesn't know the owner but owners usually doesn't hang around at the shop all the time. So, that is why she usually get discounts, and sometimes when the shops have great offers or promotions, they will call up to my mum the first thing before opens it up to public. Kudos to my mama!

Saw this cute baskets i found on the floor and i was like, Ma, is this for sale? Mum asked the girl at the shop and she said, No, it's the shopper's basket..Like a happy kid i grabbed the basket and put all the items that mum's gonna buy in it =)

While mum having her time in the shop, i walked around BSC and entered Times, just to look for a nice planner. Actually, i didn't wanna spend on an expensive ones but i just love to be around books (i kinda love a bookstore, heh). I went straightaway to the stationary sections, and found many cool new designs of planner, but of course when i looked at the price, i puts it back. And i remembered mum told me she's gonna make a really nice one for me. The way how she explains it, it will be something like this.

Then, i went to a gift section. Too many cool designs, from a frame, to a hand-rest, and they have these cute lil toys and doodles, and of course, cool designs of mugs. And i saw something familiar, i followed Sazzy Falak on Instagram and she shared her 'I'm not a paper cup' cup, a present from Aishah Sinclair. I love the cup so much that i was gonna look for it later and there i found it! In Times of BSC! Already get my hands on one of the cups but then i forgot, i was there with mum. One thing about mum, we can't buy anything unless we really gonna use it. Not that we don't have enough cups at home, rite? So i said to myself, okay maybe next time. It won't be finished after all (hoping it will not).

So, i just bought myself a Cleo and Reader's Digest. Guess what, i got a free Reader's Digest's 2012 glittery planner, yeay!

And so later after we had done our shopping, mum decided to have dinner at a Malay-Indo cuisine's restaurant. She went there before with her friends and she said it was almost the same as Sundanese (was in KLCC) and also Bumbu Desa.  This restaurant is called Dancing Fish. I believe it is named after their main dish, the dancing fish itself. We ordered the fish (of course), and some Daging Dendeng, Coconut Soup, a tea for mum while i had Black Jelly for drinks. Costs less than RM100, for only the two of us =)

Thanx mum for the day!

Iftar at Italiannies The Curve

Hey guys! Happy Sunday!

Since I'm not doing anything at home, feels like wanna update my blog. Sorry if I annoyed you with current changing bloggers layout, it's just that I need a blog the way that I wanted, but yeah, i ain't no master in blogging. As of now, this is the layout and if someone willing to taught me how to do more, then i might change it again until i satisfied with the outcome.

Okay, back to my latest entry. On last Friday, me, mum & dad decided to have Italiannies for iftar. Not that we want westerns in any way but that's the only place that we could still make a reservations. Went inside and we were like "Ooohh this is not that bad"..so we sat down and ordered ala-carte menu (we were offered to have buffet but mum said don't wanna waste it)..yup, RM45 per pax and all i could see was salads, gravy, mini pizzas, soups, fruits and drinks on the buffet table..usually we don't eat too much. I ordered for myself penne bolognaise, RM18 only! Mum had spicy roasted chicken and dad ordered for all of us a large chicken pepperoni pizza. After meal, i had the most sweetest creme brulee ever! Well, overall it was kinda worth it. And i love the place, too.

Actually, after we had finished eating, a supervisor of the place came up to our table and he asked whether the food was okay or not. So we said to him, the food was averagely okay but only the chicken was a bit too salty. And he was like "why not tell us earlier, we could have change a new dish for you but never mind, we give you this card and the next time you dine in here, you'll get free pizza"..FREE pizza??? Didn't i tell ya that the pizza was so nice???? =)

Delicious & Alexis with the gurls

Salam all,

So I'm not into some Wordless Wednesday today, yeah, i just wanted to share some photos of me & my gurls having fun stuff and girly talks at our current favorite hang-out place, Delicious & Alexis.

Remember my 3 friend's weddings on weekend that i've been to? Before Syaira's wedding reception at Grand Dorsett Hotel, Subang, the three of us, me, Lee & Faridah went to Midvalley to do some shopping and plus need to wander around while waiting for the wedding in night time. So, we quenched thirst at Delicious (nearest to Charles & Keith store where Lee had bought a really nice purse for herself). We also went to Lovely Lace & Room to buy some presents.

We went there on Saturday, so sad no free desserts :(

What we had!!!

All desserts are super Delicious. Can't get enough of the red velvet, though. LOL

And move on to my Alexis date

We were dangerously excited that day because we got to meet our long lost sister a.k.a Hana Jamilkhir (who was our bff back in high-school but moved to Sepang followed her family and we barely see her ever since). Just after Syaira's wedding, we got to hang-out again, like 'ol times. Had to admit, we really missed her a lot ^_^
